TESTING RIG FOR AUXILIARY UNITS.

Please receive herewith blueprints of all the following parts which are necessary to produce the testing rig for auxiliary units:-

D.71135 - Sleeve for Collet.
D.71136 - Bush for Pedestal. Brg:
D.71137 - Oil Pump Supporting Stud.
D.71139 - 42 - Adjusting Washer (Main Shaft).
D.71143 - Coupling Piece (Main Shaft).
D.71144 - Collet Flange.
D.71145 - Adaptor for Oil Pump Drive.
D.71146 - Bracket for Oil Pump Drive.
D.71147 - Gear for Main Shaft.
D.71148 - Cross Drive Shaft.
D.71149 - Main Shaft Extension.
D.71150 - Driving Gear.
D.71151 - Main Shaft.
D.71152 - Support for Ignition Gov. Bracket.
D.71153 - Pedestal Bearing.
D.71154 - Bracket for Ignition Gov.
D.71155 - Prop: Rig for testing out Auxiliary Parts.
D.71156 - Stud for Pedestal Bearing.
D.71158 - Packing Piece.
D.71159 - Stud for Pedestal (Long).

The bedplate should be drilled to suit the various parts and we have arranged to use the variable speed motor you already have.

We suggest that it may be economical to produce 6 pedestals complete whilst on the job, D.71153 - 1 off and D.71136 - 2 off = one complete pedestal.

The units arranged for are the Phantom Ignition and Governor gear, the oil pump and a cross drive at ½ engine speed to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rbn. request.

The size of material for D.71152/4 need not be exact to what we ask if you have some similar stock on hand, we can alter these to suit.

Will you please put this in hand.
