4407 Exptl. Dept. He/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}12/KW. 14th November, 1934. F.L. Manning Esq., Messrs. Barker & Co. (Coachbuilders) Ltd., 66, South Audley Street, LONDON, W.1. Dear Manning, I am sorry you expected me on the morning of the 12th, as by reference to a copy of the letter I sent you I find I did say the 26th. I should still like to try the car on this date if you can arrange it for me, and also if possible a straight eight Delage. You could then tell their respective manufacturers that a customer of yours is going to buy one of them. I think it must have been your trip to Paris and not my festivities on Armistice night - which were confined to motoring in a fog - that caused you to expect me on the wrong date !! Hoping the 26th is O.K. Yours sincerely, | ||
