18.12.11 MR HALDEN REP D.O. SHEET 14/9/1911 REPORT. re nut for exhaust tube in brass. The above has run about 500 miles on 1714 car and found effective as regards not seizing, but was not strong enough and the lip of the union broke through after use. We found that same could be tightened up "for ever" we await carburised steel ones as suggested by you, and shall be glad if you will instruct. | ||
