| 261 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/ML. 20.3.40. G.L.Q.Henriques,Esq., Buxton, Dear George, I have made enquiries about the cylinder head. They will have one ready for you in a month. You will appreciate that the delay is entirely due to our preoccupation on armament work. In the meantime I have asked our Repair Dept., to get the Garage to send your cracked head down by passenger train to see if we can do anything to it. I am very doubtful, however, whether we shall be able to do anything to it as welding is not satisfactory. Yours sincerely, | ||
