Referring to By/RD.3/B.7.11.38. in view of the fact that the two rheostatic switches in question are almost identical as regards size and method of fitting, we are unable to imagine what the little difficulties are, but we do not agree with the idea of giving the gustomer an inferior article in order to have the privilage of paying more for it. In the case of experimental cars fitted with the Clayton switch, the latter has given trouble on numerous occasions and is in all respects undesirable when compared with the Lucas product - we certainly will not take any responsibility for the Clayton switch if this is used.
