PT. FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Copy to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} SECRET. XY230 ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M26.7.29. SS.{S. Smith} EXHAUST SYSTEM. Herewith we send N. sch. 2925. shewing the proposed silencer with the cutout valve at the front end of the central pipe instead of the rear end. It also shews the resulting cutout operating mechanism. It will be noticed that the diameter of the pipe has been reduced from 3" to 2 1/2". This will necessitate modifications to the front expansion box end plate, which we presume can be done at Derby. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
