we substitute does not decrease the efficiency of the coil. We have made a design for this coil case which can be much more easily made in stabilite than the present one with the square base. This coil case can be used with a bakelite cover. I believe, and bakelite inside flanges, without reducing it's efficiency. The only stabilite part need be the containing case.

Y4575 Regarding the position of the coil, after some experiments I think it will be found that the lower and new position is the better one, as it is easier with the new equipment to take the cover off to examine the valve mechanism.

x4675 For the sake of reliability, etc, I had imagined that the 2 sets of H.T. wiring should be in separate tubes, the magneto being below the plugs, and the battery ignition above the plugs as at present.

Mr. Elliott will at an early date set out the head with the two sizes of plugs.
