X.4232 23.9.21. Extract from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG23.9.21. GOSHAWK 11. OIL PUMP X.4232 We have fitted to a Goshawk 11. Oil Pump a Relief Valve off a 40/50 H.P. Oil Pump. We found that we could, without much trouble, adapt the cover from a 40/50 Pump containing the Relief Valve to the Goshawk Pump. We have proved with this pump, that we can definitely overcome the noise we get from the engine gears due to excess oil when the engine is started up cold. We recommend that we adopt this scheme of relief valve for the Goshawk 11. and to take an oil supply from the main pressure to the wheelcase. All our records show that the oil pump on the 40/50 H.P. has been very reliable and very efficient. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
