X.6107 JAPAN 3. BATTERY.

With reference to your memos. on the above point, what we are immediately interested in is that we want the battery to be 6 in line, as shewn on N. sch. 3213., in order that we may have more liberty with the position of the brake ropes.

Whether the battery is on the standard R-R lines, or is the production battery suggested as an alternative, we do not at the moment care.
