We have been giving consideration to this question, and it was felt that possibly the best way of arriving at a decision was to see what was fitted to J III, although we realise that it may be necessary for those officials concerned to see it at Derby on the occasion of their respective visits. Will you therefore please let me know if there is a luggage grid fitted on JIII at the moment, and if it takes the form of the grid to N.Sch.3446 or whether it has been modified in any way. May I ask if the car is likely to be with you for some time, so that I can inform those London officials concerned who will take the opportunity of having a look at it when next at Derby.
