COPY Lendrum & Hartman Ltd., Buick House, Albemarle Street, W.1. 30th August 1937. W.Cowen, Esq., Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd., 14-15 Conduit Street, W.1. Dear Mr.Cowen, Many thanks for your letter dated August 27th confirming your conversation on the telephone when you asked us to obtain for you as soon as possible one of the next series Buick models which your Company require for their own use. Before communicating with the other side, I should be obliged if you would check as to the exact model you will be requiring, but I take it that what you will need will be the new equivalent model to our Century series 60 Saloon which this season has 126 inch wheelbase with a cubic engine of 320. If you will kindly confirm that it is the 126 inch wheelbase and not the 122 inch in your letter, and whether you wish the car to be fitted with two spare wheels, one carried in each front wing, I shall be pleased to communicate with the factory right away and ask them to specially prepare the car for you. It is of course understood that the vehicle will be a righthand drive and trimmed with cloth. Have you any preference for colour? I understand that next season there will be options of black, blue, grey or maroon. On hearing from you your requirements will have our immediate attention. Again thanking you for your valued instructions. Yours sincerely, (Sd) H.E.Berenstein. | ||
