X.2894 - RE TUNGSTEN POINTS

We are handing you herewith, two short pieces of
Tungsten rod which have been obtained from the B.T.H. Co.,
for the purpose of making up low tension contact points.
Will you kindly attempt to make contacts from these
bars and fit them to a blade and a screw of our present
standard battery ignition contact breaker. We hope you
will be more successful with this material than was
possible with that obtained from Messrs. Gallenkamp.
We are handing to you a suitable blade, but will
you kindly obtain the screw required. If we are able
to do this job satisfactorily, we would like to put these
contacts on the 10,000 mile chassis.

EFC.

First Note and Tungsten
