To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. BJ19/H3.1.23. X9840 RECEIVED 11 JAN 1928 BODIES FOR TESTING "SEAGULL." You mentioned a little time ago that you would probably require some bodies for testing the Seagull, or Heron, or one of the new Birds Please let us know about three months in advance should you require any such bodies and exactly what would be the dimensions of the chassis, etc. to enable the bodies to be built. We should like if possible to order the bodies from the coachbuilders by supplying the coachbuilder with a one of our standard 40/50 h.p. long chassis prints, and only altering perhaps the dimensions or position of the dashboard, as we do not want to send a coachbuilder a print of a new chassis; this would soon start undesirable and damaging rumours in the trade.
