Dear Sirs,

With reference to yours of the 11st instant, relating to a conversation with our Mr. Stevens, we have to inform you that we have referred to the Application numbers stated in your letter, and find that these both relate to applications in the name of H.E.West, and therefore refer to the applications you have mentioned to us as being your attempts to protect this application of an electrical revolution indicator.

In conversation with us, however, you informed us that you had found an earlier application coming from Germany in the name of Lange, and you offered to let us know the number of this application in order that we might look it up and endeavour to find out with whom this applicant is associated.

If you will be kind enough to give us this other application number which you have found, we shall endeavour to find out the necessary information if it is possible.

Yours faithfully,

SAS/JW
