Managing Director's Office.
Aug. 28th 1936.

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

We were very pleased to receive the visit from Mr. Grylls yesterday, in connection with REAR AXLE CASINGS, and were only too happy to afford him every facility in this matter, which we discussed with him fully.

Mr. Grylls brought certain drawings with him, and we confirm the arrangement made that we let you have as quickly as possible a quotation on the following basis:

(a) Rear Axle Casings, to drawing, but on the 'Scott' principle;

(b) ditto. made as a welded Casing, in two halves (we are to quote in this way both for the short Casing and the extended Casing)

(c) Axle Arm Ends, to drawing, made in two halves.

We are at once going into the costs on these lines, and will let you hear from us further in course of post.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. RUBERY, OWEN & CO. LTD.

A.G.B.Owen
Managing Director.
