We are producing a modified shape of radiator which has the present taper on the tank and sides, but with a shallow top tank. This radiator is also arranged for thermostat operated shutters. It is not, however, arranged for centrally mounted radiator; we have received no designs for this.

We have just received instructions to connect the central lubrication to the axles as on the latest Phantom ll.

Whilst the chassis has been held up for these alterations we have had the engine running in another 25 HP. car 14-G4. It has run about 1,200 miles.

The new parts on this engine such as the new slipper wheels and modified dynamo drive and engine gears are behaving satisfactorily. This unit is also fitted with a modified clutch, this is not behaving very well and we are proposing to make the same modifications as on Phantom ll to the 25 HP. as regards material with the hope that by doing this the present type of clutch can be made satisfactory. We are expecting in about fourteen days to have this car complete. We are also arranging to fit to it the latest increased diameter propeller shaft. We think it is important to get a test on this because the present one is liable to be dangerous if the car is ever driven at 70 m.p.h. which might
