Dear Sirs,

You will remember that during one of your recent visits we loaned you personally a Lucas magneto. If you have now finished with it we would like to have it back. It will doo next time you are paying us a visit if that is not too far ahead.

You will remember that we showed you the Bosch type FU.6. magneto complete. We have now had this machine dismantled and we propose to unwind the armature. I do not think it is worth while your making a special journey, but we suggest that during your next visit for some other purpose you should see these parts, and perhaps we can arrange to unwind the armature in your presence.

The reason we suggest this is not that we think there is anything that we ought particularly to demonstrate to you on this machine, but merely as a matter of interest to all of us, arising from the fact that we do realise a better shape of curve of the short circuit ampere speed output of the primary of this machine.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
