To W.C.R. from E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/HP.2.1.34. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Sft.{Mr Swift} re Bentley Starting Handle and Radiator Shutters. We are of the opinion that the modification whereby a label is sweated to the starting handle indicating the procedure to be followed in order to open the radiator shutters, should be adopted on all Bentley cars including the first 15. In cases where cars have left the Works it would appear necessary to prepare modified handles and exchange them for the original ones, these latter would then have labels sweated on to them and could be used up on production. The modification does not produce any scrap. E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} | ||
