IV. FULL POTENTIAL RANGE OF RATIONALISED MODELS.

Designs are in hand for putting these cast iron engines in all three chassis, and these will be proceeded with when the cars already instructed have been completed.

In order to enable everyone to visualise the whole range of cars projected, however, we attach a sheet on which they are all set out.

It will be observed that on this project chart Rolls-Royce radiators have been suggested for B.50 and B.V. chassis at a later date in order to provide two different motor-cars to absorb each type of standardised body.

The rationalised body programme would then become -

CHASSIS MODEL. SMALL 25/30 WRAITH REPLACEMENT.
B.R. B.V. B.R. B.50.
WHEELBASE 10 ft.4 ins. 10 ft 10 ins. 11' ft. 1 in.
BODY PROJECT. B.III B.50 CUSTOM COACHWORK.
BODY SHELL BODY SHELL

We should like to get a decision as to whether it is necessary to make a longer frame than that of the Silver Wraith to replace the P.III. To put 6" on this frame, and it would hardly be worth meaningless, we should probably have to indulge in a new set of dies.

We also visualise that the Wraith Replacement will never be put on the market with other than an 8-cylinder engine, owing to the fact that this chassis now accommodates such a large body, i.e., production Wraiths are averaging over 43 cwts. It is suggested that the B.50 chassis and body with an R.R. radiator might take the place of the 25 H.P. and retain the 6-cylinder engine.
