June 17th. 1935.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. West.

At our Stand at the B.I.F. we had the pleasure of a visit from one of your Representatives, a Mr. Johnson, who thought that you may probably be interested in our Chargers for use with experimental batteries and for maintaining the condition of batteries in chassis in the Works.

At the same time we have had enquiries from manufacturers who have seemed interested in one of our models, i.e., the Car Owner Trickle Charger. This Unit is particularly suitable for fixing to the scuttle or some convenient position on the car and to be wired up in the system of the battery, the idea being that the owner can at night when garaging his car, plug in our Charger to the mains and so ensure a steady trickle charge at an economical cost throughout the night, maintaining the condition of his batteries as long as possible.

We naturally thought that your good selves would be the people, as manufacturers of Rolls and Bentley Cars, to be approached first for consideration on this matter.

We would respectfully point out that we are experts on rectification and charging matters, and if you would be so kind as to grant us an interview, should the matter be of interest to you, the writer would be only too pleased to call and see you when the proposition could be gone into further.

Thanking you for any consideration you could show us and assuring you of our best attention at all times.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. W.D. VICK.
