1941 Pub: campaign 1378 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}13/ML. 23.1.41. R.Summers,Esq., SHOTTON. Chester. Dear Dick, I am sorry that the weather has prevented my coming to see you. However, when the snow clears away I shall inflict my presence upon you. Is your squash court still working? We are anxiously awaiting your pieces of strip steel for the frame. Please let me know when they are sent off so that they will not get parked in the Stores and used for fabricating Spitfire wings. Could you get one of your henchmen, or, alternatively, could you yourself, send this letter to the Motor for me. I want to get an article published and this would give me the necessary opening. Yours sincerely, | ||
