R.R. 149 (20 M) (W 279. 24.2 11) G 1486. X633. X484. 1000. 7/7/'11 Propeller Shafts 2600. 1642 Chassis fitted with Vinet rims, run on jacks at speeds varying from 38 m.p.h. The shaft stood up to the sudden application of the foot brake until 65 m.p.h. was reached when it twisted 3/16" at a point 4" from axle coupling. Impossible to measure time taken from applying the brake to the wheel stopping. EHA. | ||
