This column is for Name of Person addressed. Date. Re Front Axle Pivots. Mr Wormald 27-1-13 As you are probably aware, we have had two breakages on front axle pivots. One occurred on 1800E (De Salamanca) and the other one on a car belonging to M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} St.Alery. the parts of which have not yet come to hand. Mr Johnson is particularly anxious that we should, without delay, carry out tests to destruction on one of our standard front axle pivots. The pivot should be mounted approx. in the same way as on the car and loaded until it breaks. I am asking Mr Moon to get out a sketch of some suitable rig for for holding the pivot whilst it is being loaded.
