Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 21.3.40. Messrs Barrons Landscape Ltd., Borrowash, Nr. Derby. Dear Sirs, Thank you for your quotation of the 19th. March with reference to the proposed garden at the Clan Foundry. The figure is more than the Company is prepared to pay and I would be obliged therefore, if you give me separate quotations for the following sections of the original estimate :- (1) The cost of supplying and planting 6 standard Pyrus trees. (Incidentally, you have quoted for Lemoinei and I would prefer Aldenhamensis.) (2) Quotation for supplying 200 dwarf roses and 12 standard roses. In other words, we propose to do the necessary bed-making ourselves. We note that you are supplying a 7 ft. high Pyrus Aldenhamensis at Duffield Bank House. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS ROYCE LTD., | ||
