Re. 20-HP. Chassis No.68.H.7. Dr.Harvey.
-------------------------

We attach hereto C.A.V's original letter dated the 20th.instant which has been passed to us for our comments.

According to previous correspondence the C.A.V.Co. have supplied a replacement battery, probably a new one, and it would appear from their report that they are proposing to charge for it. However, it is very evident from the customer's attitude that he does not propose to pay as he is very upset that the original battery was only in use for 10 months.

Therefore, it would appear to be advisable to obtain from the Northampton Station of the C.A.V.Co. the old battery about which the complaint is made, and if you agree that this be got back for examination, perhaps you will kindly let us know, and also return to us the attached letter together with any comments you have on the subject as soon as possible to enable us to take action.
