[Stamp: RECEIVED] [Date Stamp: 23 MAY 1935] Dear Sirs, We very much regret delay in writing you following your request by telephone yesterday for certain Supercharger parts. However, the position is as follows:- We can supply you immediately with a complete Supercharger at £30 less 15%, and if you will return the original Supercharger we will recondition this and credit you later with the difference between the price of the new unit and the cost of reconditioning. We should explain that some time ago we ordered a supply of items for the Supercharger but that the Factory declined to supply these pending the issue of a special tool for reconditioning, which tool is not yet available. In the meantime their policy is to supply the complete new Supercharger and to take back the original units for reconditioning. No doubt, however, we could obtain the items you require from the Factory if we explained that they were for yourselves but this would involve delay.
