| To Sft.{Mr Swift} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} x206 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}6/KW5.1.34. Referring to E/LID.{A. J. Lidsey}2/HP.2.1.34, we agree that it may not be necessary to run 10,000 miles in order to standardise the self-aligning Brake Equalisers. If you would let us have the set which you have made we would fit them to an Experimental Chassis with a view to issuing the Standardisation Sheet if we are satisfied with them. We shall be running this equaliser on the next 10,000 miles test, but as yet have not had one fitted to a chassis. Ha/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Grylls. | ||
