EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}4/MJ.8.12.30. BOOMS ON 25 HP. Attached herewith please find report ref: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GR.{George Ratcliffe}2/MJ.8.12.30. These tests have been conducted with the car stationary, driving the rear wheels through dynamometer drums with a separate power unit. It is a coincidence that we find a boom in the exhaust at almost exactly the same speed as a vibration in the engine. Having separated the two, we should be able to make progress.
