My dear F.H.R.,

I see that the Austin people have brought out a car with enclosed valves, and it seems to me that since they have constructed a 4" engine as standard that we ought to start making a design for a four and a half inch engine with enclosed valves and with as much as possible of the combined gear also enclosed so that it may have a simple exterior.
