I thought it as well that you should know what rumour has it that you are doing, and whereas I agree with your remarks about 12 cylinder engines, and can well imagine they are awkward to get into a car, it has happened in the past that rumours have not been very wide of the mark. However, I entirely agree with your remarks that the suspension is far more important than the power unit. The only criticism I have of the power unit is that it is lacking in power at low revolutions, and is inclined to be a bit rough. I hope that you will come in and see us on your way back from Leyland: try and give me a day or two's notice as to when it is likely to be.
