Exhaust heated throttle.
Origin.
In order to get satisfactory running on low grade petrol.
Experimental Test Report.
The advantages in this scheme are :-
(1) Lower grade petrol can be used with no disadvantage.
(2) The car can be run from cold satisfactorily without a long warming up period.
Road Test Report.
Run 11,000 miles on 1.EX

Fitted to 2 chassis supplied to Canada.
