| -2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/KW.26.3.36. It is splendid that Sleator is going to continue to be marshall of the course, since we shall be able to see how you are getting on. Incidentally you will see that the filler cap on your existing car is in practically the same position as the one we shall fit to the new tank. Send the churns up in about three weeks' time. With regard to the headlamps, we are not very enthusiastic about the two you have sent to Offords, and I think we should have to modify them ourselves before we should be happy that they could stand up to 24 hours. Messrs. Lucas have, however, produced a special lamp for the 24 hour race we understand, which has been run with success, and if this is really so, they have definite experience on the subject of which we ought to avail ourselves. We are therefore getting hold of a couple of those lamps and will let you have our opinion on them in due course. Yours sincerely, | ||
