BRAKE DRUMS.

With reference to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ.7.3.32. when we asked the Works to produce brake drums in cast iron similar to what we used for our cylinder blocks, it was considered at that time that this material corresponded to what Messrs. Lake & Elliott's use, but from the analysis recently made by HL. we find that this assumption isnot quite correct.

However, material is being ordered corresponding to HL's analysis, so that the Foundry may produce some more brake drums in order to obtain some experience.
