BATTERY IGNITION ON 10-GIII.

The make and break unit on this chassis has given trouble. We should be pleased if you would have this checked over and corrected for mechanical accuracy where necessary. At present there appears to be some slackness in the spindle and some slight out-of-truth of the cam.
As there has appeared to have been a certain amount of trouble on previous occasions with cams running out of truth, I should be pleased to have your opinion as to whether you consider the design of this unit can be improved, e.g. more rigid spindle, or advance and retard bearing surface of larger diameter, in which case I will arrange to have the matter looked into.
