1158 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}16/MH.{M. Huckerby} 28th. September, 1939. Messrs. Clayton Dewandre Co. Ltd., Titanic Works, LINCOLN. For the attention of Mr. J.A.Walker. Dear Sirs, Further to yours of the 26th. inst., we understand that Mr. Roberts 'phoned you yesterday and stated that the heater in question was at present fitted to a car which was in use and could not be interfered with at the present moment. We very much regret, therefore, that we shall be unable to let you have the heater, but as soon as hostilities are completed we shall probably be able to do some testing on the job and let you have some full information. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
