Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X2688 Hsl/LG29.9.23. We would recommend that for a car to be used in Canada, it would be better to change the thick springs to thin ones. Apart from the riding effect of the thick leaf springs, they are much more liable to break. We think it is the risk of them breaking which is the reason for R's instructions. We agree that there will be no improvement in riding between thick leaf springs and shock absorbers - and thin leaf springs and shock absorbers. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
