X8793 EFC Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}4/T27.6.27. re X.8793. Lucas Magneto Type ER6. No. 53A/426 EFC6/T10.6.27. EFC3/T24.6.27. We return herewith Magneto 53A. We have run this Magneto 100 miles on the dynamometer and 100 miles on the road, and consider it satisfactory electrically at all speeds. There appears to be a slight knock in the gears, and the make and break is rather noisy, but the magneto generally is quieter than the standard Watford. The Watford Sleeveless Magneto ER6 was returned to you under cover of our memo Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}/McM4/T16.6.27. [Handwritten note]: Do you require further report please?
