X4240 PN{Mr Northey}2/DN/30.11.23. TO Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} FROM P.N. 20 HP CHASSIS LOUVRES. On the 21st September last I wrote asking for information as to when it was probable that chassis having radiator shutters included XXXXXX inside the radiator, and not protruding as at present, would be standard. We have at least one order waiting to be confirmed until this modification is produced. Is it proposed that the shutter shall be operated by the Thermostat ? Also, in making the change from the existing type to the enclosed louvred type in future, will it follow that the bonnet of the car will have to be scrapped ? P.N. | ||
