Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Fowler-Clark.

In further reply to your letter of the 3rd inst., we beg to say that we have now very much improved the performance of the Magneto No. 98034. Before returning it to you, however, it will be necessary to submit it to an eight hour run at high speeds, and to re-examine and test it on completion of this period, and as soon as this has been done we will return the Magneto to you by passenger train.

Yours faithfully,

p.p. NORTH & SONS. LIMITED.

MANAGING DIRECTOR.
