contd :- -2- when passing a verdict on any alteration liable to affect 'shimmy'. While we have not the slightest doubt that it is possible for a car to be fitted with the new well base tyre at 35 lbs/sq.in. and not wobble as in the case of Mr. Royce's car, we know there are cars where the alteration may cause trouble, and in fact have such a car in our possession. In addition, Sales frequently complain that they come across cars which wobble under our present standard conditions, whereas we have only been able to reproduce their [overtyped word] troubles on our exceptional wobbler - our other cars being entirely immune from wobbles when tried under these circumstances.
