attributed to the expansion of the crankcase when cars are run under full power conditions in France.
We know from test bench measurements, it will lengthen .100" or more.

(4) We only had one case of the petrol system or filters giving trouble. This was after a lot of water was found in the petrol.

(5) The cause of the bearings going on the engine is explained by the fact that when the extra oil pipe failed, practically all the oil in the engine was lost. The trouble started from that time.
