1021 5th June, 1941. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.3/RH.{R. Hollingworth} Messrs. Neale's Ltd., New Buildings, COVENTRY. Dear Sirs, We are sending you herewith blue print RB.{R. Bowen}18101 which is part of the side arms. Will you please make us 2 of these in laminated bends 4" wide. You will notice that the blue print shows cut outs in the plan. Please ignore these. If you can leave the bends approximately 1/8" longer at each end, as shown on the print, we can cut the length. The thickness is shown as 1/4". However, if you have the veneers that will not make up the full 1/4" and will only hold up to 7/32", it will be quite satisfactory, but we do not want to have the thickness more than 1/4". We shall be obliged if you will put these in hand and let us have them as soon as possible and also a quotation on the same basis as the last which you let us have. Our official order will be sent to you covering this work. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED, Enclosure: 1 blue-print No. RB.{R. Bowen}18101. | ||
