B.G. SPARK PLUGS. - TYPE 116.

The above plugs have been tried out by us as they are the type of plug which Messrs. Delage propose to use in the Kestrel engine, which they are building under licence.

The B.G. plugs tested were manufactured under licence from the B.G. Corp.-New York by Ra Bougie B.G. - Paris.

We have tried out the following types - report Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Yag.1/AD.9. 11. 31. -

Preliminary running shewed the type 116 to be the best and accordingly this was used for the rehearsal of the French Type test carried out on Kestrel II S-119.

Conditions of Test.

Engine Kestrel II S-119 (Fully boosted Kestrel with 6/1 C.R.

Plugs {A block Lodge A.2.
{B block B.G. 116.

Fuel D.T.D.134.
Mags. {A - B.T.H. SC 12-7A.
{B - B.T.H. SC 12-7A.

Oil Castor P.3.

All test were run water cooled under conditions laid down in the French Type Test Schedule Air 6105/1.
