The following is a list of mileage covered on Senior rationa-lised chassis and engine parts to date. Part run. Steerings. The steering situation is unsatisfactory since we have had several failures on S cylinder cars, but cannot get modified parts to test from the people who produce the steering cams and rollers. Gear Boxes. We are still awaiting completion of manufactured parts before we can build any new type gearboxes. We are coming to the end of our resources on the present type of box. Front Suspension. The total mileage of 542,515 given above does not include the mileage run by the cars in customers' hands, viz., Messrs. Barclay, Barnato, Breeden and Devereux. The latest type front dampers are now fitted on three cars and have covered a total mileage of 3,592 without trouble. Brakes. We have not yet been able to produce a cure for servo groans. | ||
