Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

We have yours of the 2nd inst., EFC.2/AD, asking for a new single cell of the latest type. This is a little difficult because they are made for the three compartment mouldings and what you really ought to have is one of these three compartment mouldings with one cell assembled, because the cell dimensions of the three-compartment are not quite the same as in the old type, and the volume of acid etc. would be slightly different.

We could, however, assemble a section in an ebonite box, which is very nearly the same dimensions as the new type, and let you have it, but perhaps you would give us further instructions in the light of what we say.

Yours faithfully,
PETO & RADFORD.

G R N Minchin
