We wish to confirm telephone conversations of late yesterday afternoon and this morning with the undersigned when it was arranged that you would visit these Works to-morrow morning (Wednesday) with your Inspector so that the processes of manufacture of the 11" clutches could be watched. Further, we are in agreement with your suggestion that our own Inspector should visit your Works when the clutches that have been built are offered up, and we believe that by carrying out this procedure we shall get to the bottom of the trouble that you are experiencing with release levers out of alignment. We take this opportunity of assuring you of our fullest co-operation, and as stated yesterday evening we despatched per Qualcast carriers a quantity of 10 cover assemblies which have been rectified.
