In order to overcome the trouble experienced on the Wraith cars as reported in Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /IMW. {Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} 3/MH. {M. Huckerby} 9.5.38. due to the front retaining plate for the rubber bush of the front engine mounting becoming dished slightly in resisting the pressure from the rubber, we suggest that this piece FW.1318 should be increased in thickness from .128" to .144". The increased thickness of plate to be introduced on both the Wraith 111 and Bentley 111 cars when convenient without creating any scrap. DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
