FLEXI-LUBRI COVERS.
These joints were not a success on the 10,000 miles test in France owing to the fact that the whole joint distorts when relative movement takes place between the steering arm and the cross steering tube.
On the road, under the combined movement of the steering gear and the bouncing of the front axle, the joints invariably become undone in a short distance.
We suggest that as Messrs. Desmo still have our model steering tube and cross steering tube they should endeavour to improve their design to suit our requirements.
