Sec.7042 - Front Suspⁿ Mechanism.
In accordance with a request from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Clm.{D. D. Clapham}, alteration Nos. 233/RF and 234/RF have been made.
These alterations call for a longer Front Spring and a modified Stop to bring the buffer into operation earlier, to prevent the Torque Arm fouling the frame.
The replaced Front Springs FB.3826, which are in the Stores, are to be stretched to 11.984" if possible.
