NEW 4.75" BENTLEY MOTOR.

With the use of a thicker carcase on the Bentley starter motor we gain about 8 lb inches extra torque with a current of 300 amperes which represents an increase of approx. 6½%.

This rather suggests, after consideration, that a slightly thicker carcase would be an advantage.

Other improvements would be a longer brush to reduce contact drop and brush losses, and possibly "Lohys" poles.
